Job Title: Finance Controller

JOB SUMMARY


We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee the financial management and strategic planning for our health and fitness business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the health, wellness, or hospitality industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and business expansion.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
  • Manage financial audits, tax filings (VAT compliance), and regulatory submissions.
  • Oversee internal controls, policies, and procedures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimize funding strategies.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and expense control.
  • Analyze business performance, revenue streams, and cost structures.
  • Implement financial KPIs and track key operational metrics.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Lead and mentor finance teams, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Work closely with senior management to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.


Requirements:


  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial management, preferably in the health & fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE tax laws (VAT), and financial regulations.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cost control.
  • Experience in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
