Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Intern to join our Audit & Compliance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in auditing processes, financial analysis, and risk assessment. The intern will assist in evaluating internal controls, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing financial and operational audits under the supervision of senior auditors.
Collect and analyze data to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
Review internal controls and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Participate in audit planning and risk assessment procedures.
Prepare audit workpapers and document findings accurately.
Support in compliance checks with industry regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information.
Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations for management review.
Stay updated with audit standards, industry practices, and financial regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of auditing principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
