Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software, particularly Tally Prime, and will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records by posting and reviewing entries in Tally Prime.

• Reconcile bank statements regularly and verify all cash and bank transactions..

• Prepare, review, and submit statutory returns such as GST, TDS, and other tax filings in compliance with applicable laws.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audit documentation.

• Process invoices, receipts, and vendor/customer payments in a timely manner.

• Generate accounting and MIS reports from Tally Prime for management analysis.

• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and statutory regulations.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis activities.

• Provide day-to-day accounting support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 0–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Tally Prime.

• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial statements.

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other taxation requirements.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and coordination skills.
